OUR MISSION
We are to “Meet people where they are, with the Gospel that changes lives."
Following the mandate of the words of Jesus, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." (Mathew 28:19-20a).
Our vision is to connect individuals with the redemptive power of Jesus Christ and through transformed living bring renewal to individuals, families, and our community.
Charity Lutheran Church is a small congregation that refuses to live a small ministry. Charity refuses to be just a Sunday ministry. Charity refuses to confine its ministry to the walls of the church.
Charity Lutheran Church certainly uses its building beginning the week with worship in the Word of God. It also houses the iCan Achievement Camp, serves over 2,400 meals to children, provides a safe house in one of the nations most dangerous communities, offers its facilities for community activities like the HardCourt Hitters.
